Seated our large group immediately, 12 of us. Drinks, and then food came out fast. Everyone enjoyed their dish. It was all excellent , we will definitely be coming back.
Celina Star Cafe is a charming little spot perfect for breakfast or lunch. If you’re cruising up Preston Road and curious to see how far north it stretches, make this café your destination. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, and hats off to the kitchen team for crafting gourmet level breakfast dishes that hit the spot every time. The biscuit was just okay if you have the choice, go for the pancakes or toast instead. Weekends can get extremely busy here, so plan ahead and be prepared for a bit of a wait it’s well worth it.
I had such an amazing experience at Celina Star Cafe! Courtney, our server, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and you can tell they put real care into their menu. I’ll definitely be back!

This bright neighborhood favorite pairs a warm, family-friendly diner atmosphere with exceptionally welcoming hospitality. The kitchen delivers bold, scratch-made flavor, pairing fluffy buttermilk pancakes, hearty three-egg omelets, and sizzling breakfast skillets with golden chicken fried steak, juicy burgers, and comforting country sides.
Stopped for a quick bite on my way to Anna. I enjoyed the diner feel. My server was very nice and checked on my frequently.
The Celina star Café is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast inCelina. Although, there’s really not a bad place! Except maybe Taco Bell. The staff is always very friendly and the food is very good. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that the prices have been going up so much that it is getting somewhat prohibitive to be able to go there anymore. There was a time when the Celina star Café was more affordable and provided a great deal more value. I will continue going back because I like supporting local businesses and the food is definitely good, just maybe not as often as I used to. If you are looking for a great place to grab breakfast, this is it! Be advised, but if you go on a Saturday or especially a Sunday morning, you may have to wait a little bit. However, through the week there is rarely a wait. I highly recommend the Celina star Café!
So glad we found this place. Great service, the food was as good as advertised, and the time to be seated after church was less than 15 minutes. If you want home cooking and a smile, make the drive to Celina.
Our first time visiting the Cafe and we were very impressed with the service, food, and especially the staff was especially friendly. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants good food and service.
We came here on a Sunday morning and were happy to see a nice crowd. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and two eggs over easy, and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, it was one of the best chicken fried steaks I have had. It was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and not chewy at all. We also shared an order of the Biscoff Cookie Butter Cakes, and they were phenomenal. I am usually not a big fan of sweet pancakes, but these had just the right amount of sweetness and the perfect balance of Biscoff flavor. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.
